You Got Me - The Roots ft. Jill Scott
Sick live rendition of a classic Roots song featuring Jilly from Philly.
Favorite Artist #4 - Andre 3000
Andre has been on the scene for awhile with his fellow ATLien, Big Boi in one of hip hop’s greatest duos, Outkast. In recent years since dropping 1/2 of the album of the year, The Love Below, he has been dropping scene-stealing features here and there but has remained relatively quiet. His lyrical prowess and story-telling ability make him one of my favorite artists but damn, I wish he would drop another album already. Oh, also I actually liked The Love Below even though it was a departure from Outkast’s previous works. It was weird, but 3000 made it work. This song off that album, A Life in the Day of Benjamin Andre, showcases that storytelling ability as he speaks on loves lost, his road to success, and his son.
I wish I had more hands, so I could give those titties four thumbs down! THE MILKS GONE BAD!!!
